Dr. Elizabeth Cooper joined EVS in 2021. Dr. Cooper grew up in a small town in West Tennessee, where she has always had a variety of animals. After starting here at EVS, she and her husband Cody brought their various animals with them to their new home in Paducah, KY. In her free time, she enjoys barrel racing and spending time outside with her husband.
Dr. Cooper received a dual Bachelor’s of Science degree from the University of Tennessee at Martin in Animal Science and Veterinary Technology. Following her undergraduate degree, she pursued a Master’s of Science degree in Biomedical Professions from Lincoln Memorial University. She graduated with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in May 2021, from University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. Institute Acupuncture program, Dr. Cooper is licensed to perform chiropractic and acupuncture. She is passionate about equine lameness diagnostic and treatment utilizing rehabilitation, acupuncture, and kinesiology. She hopes to further her education through herbology and ISELP.
